KU finished with 849 strokes for three rounds to tie Colorado (849). Washington won with 844 strokes.
Jayhawks Chris Marshall and Travis Hurst tied for 10th. Marshall shot a 68 in the final round and Hurst shot a 69. Both ended with 211 totals.

LAFAYETTE, LA. ? Kansas University knocked off 19 strokes from the previous day to place sixth Tuesday at the Louisiana Classic men’s golf tournament at Oakbourne Country Club.
The Jayhawks finished with a two-round 585 score. They shot 302 in the first round and 283 the second round.
KU senior Conrad Roberts shot rounds of 76 and 68 to tie for seventh with a 144 total. Chris Marshall (146), Andy Stewart (147), Casey Harbour (150) and Travis Hurst (151) also competed for the Jayhawks.
Next for KU is the Cleveland Golf Collegiate Championships at Palmetto Golf Club on March 19-20.
