A 29-point loss at Texas Tech over the weekend was enough to send the Kansas men’s basketball team tumbling in the Associated Press Top 25.

The Jayhawks this week fell three spots to No. 15, which marks the lowest KU has been ranked in the AP poll since the 2013-14 season.

The fall comes after KU had moved up a couple of spots a week ago after putting together a 3-game winning streak over Oklahoma State, TCU and West Virginia.

Texas Tech, which moved up 3 spots to No. 11 in this week’s Top 25, proved to be a whole different animal than those three foes, and the Jayhawks have another monster on tap tonight, when Sunflower State rival Kansas State comes to Allen Fieldhouse for a rematch of a K-State win from earlier this month in Manhattan.

The Wildcats currently sit one spot behind the Jayhawks, at No. 16 in the poll, up a whopping 7 spots from their No. 23 ranking a week ago.

Iowa State, with a road loss to TCU over the weekend, fell out of this week’s poll leaving those three Big 12 teams as the only ranked squads in the conference this week.

Here’s a look at the complete Top 25, which features Gonzaga in the No. 1 spot after Duke’s tough loss to North Carolina.
