Say What? Tait’s weekly appearance on Rock Chalk Sports Talk

Believe it or not, this week marked the unofficial beginning of college football season and KU coach David Beaty and veterans Joe Dineen, Khalil Herbert, Steven Sims Jr., and Daniel Wise went down to Dallas this week for Big 12 media days 2018.

I wasn’t there — Benton Smith and Tom Keegan handled the coverage for our squad — but I did follow along with what was said and written and heard more than a couple of things that caught me a little bit by surprise.

KLWN’s Derek Johnson, who filled in for Nick Schwerdt on Rock Chalk Sports Talk this week, and I discussed a few of those moments and also talked a little KU basketball in the process.
