Following his team’s 49-22 loss at No. 17 Coastal Carolina on Friday night, Kansas football coach Lance Leipold said he thought the offense showed progress in Week 2.
“I thought we took some nice steps. I thought Jason (Bean) had a really good game, a gritty game,” Leipold said of the quarterback in particular.
“I told them I was proud of them, because we’re getting better for 60 minutes,” Leipold added.
