No. 3 seed Kansas was able to close things out down the stretch to earn a 93-84 win over No. 14 seed Eastern Washington on Saturday in Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
The Jayhawks (21-8) advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with the win. They are 35-2 in their last 37 NCAA Tournament round-of-64 games.
Junior big man David McCormack led KU with 22 points in the win, but was one of five players to finish in double figures.
Ochai Agbaji scored 21 points, while Marcus Garrett finished with 20 points. Dajuan Harris added 13 points, and Christian Braun posted 12 points.
