David McCormack after KU’s offense was limited in 19-point loss to Tennessee

No. 15 Kansas was overwhelmed by No. 18 Tennessee in a 80-61 loss Saturday night inside Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.

This matchup was a break between conference play as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge. The Jayhawks are now 5-3 in this particular conference challenge.

Kansas falls to 11-6 on the year with the loss, while Tennessee improves to 12-3 overall.

In the loss, KU shot 38% from the floor. David McCormack led the team with 17 points in a losing effort.

Kansas will host Kansas State at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
