Unranked for the first time in more than a decade, the Kansas men’s basketball team earned a much-needed 78-66 victory over No. 23 Oklahoma State on Tuesday night at Allen Fieldhouse.

David McCormack led KU with 23 points in the win, while Marcus Garrett finished with 17 points.

The Jayhawks improved to 13-7 on the year, which includes a 7-5 clip in Big 12 action.

KU will host Iowa State on Thursday night and then travel to Ames, Iowa just two days later.
