Kansas sophomore David McCormack spoke to reporters in the Allen Fieldhouse media room Thursday afternoon.
The Jayhawks will begin Big 12 play this weekend. KU has won 28 consecutive conference openers dating back to the 1991-92 season, with 11 of those in Allen Fieldhouse and 17 on the road.
No. 3 Kansas (10-2) will play host to No. 16 West Virginia (11-1) at 3 p.m. Saturday.
