With the rematch versus rival Kansas State up next on the schedule, Kansas coach Bill Self shared his thoughts Thursday on the environment the Jayhawks will encounter in Manhattan.
The two rivals, of course, spilled into some courtside seats during a fracas at Allen Fieldhouse in the final seconds of a KU win back on Jan. 21.
“I expect it will be great, just like it always is when we go over there,” Self said of the kind of scene he expects to see. “And I don’t think there will be anything to take away from that.”
Self said the crowd will be turned up, and said KU’s coaches will have a talk with players about what they should be prepared for.
