Kansas junior Marcus Garrett spoke to reporters on Friday in the Allen Fieldhouse media room.
Garrett was asked about where his defensive intensity came from and mentioned that he has a friendly competition with the other KU guards for each game. Entering Saturday’s contest with a nine-game win streak, KU is looking to post a streak of 10 games or longer for the 17th time under Bill Self.
Kansas plays host to Oklahoma at 11 a.m. Saturday.
