After a short break, the Kansas men’s basketball team is back in action this weekend.

KU plays host to Texas at 11 a.m. Saturday in Allen Fieldhouse. The Jayhawks are 8-1 overall, which includes an eight-game win streak since falling to top-ranked Gonzaga in the season opener.

Kansas is 2-0 to start Big 12 play, with wins over West Virginia and Texas Tech before the break.

Texas, meanwhile, is 7-1 overall and 1-0 in league action. The Longhorns are coming off a 77-74 win over Oklahoma State on Dec. 20.

Saturday’s matchup will be televised on ESPN2.
