Despite a strong performance by the defense, the Kansas football team remains winless in Year 2 of the Les Miles era.

KU forced four turnovers in a 16-13 loss to Texas Tech Saturday afternoon in Lubbock, Texas.

Texas Tech placekicker Jonathan Garibay connected on a 36-yard field goal with 5:36 remaining to break a 13-13 deadlock, which served as the game-winner of a tightly-contest league battle.

With the loss, Kansas fell to 0-9 on the season and 0-8 in Big 12 play. Texas Tech concluded its regular season with a 4-6 record and a 3-6 mark in league play.

KU will play host to Texas in the regular-season finale next weekend.
