Kansas coach Les Miles spoke to reporters following a 29-24 loss to West Virginia.
The Jayhawks averaged 7.4 yards per play in the loss. It is just the fourth time since 2000 that KU has averaged at least 7.0 yards per play in a defeat.
Kansas will travel to TCU next week.
