For the first time since 2015, Kansas fell in the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.

KU suffered an 89-75 loss to Auburn Friday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Jayhawks finished 26-10 on the year. It marked the second time in Bill Self's tenure that Kansas has lost 10 games in a year, as the other campaign was 2014.

Auburn advanced to its fifth Sweet 16 in program history and first since 2003.

Maybe the elevator was stuck down in the basement. Grimes was by far the most highly touted recruit in last year's class and never came close to putting it all together.

He shows all the skills so maybe he just needs a little more time.
