Kansas freshman Devon Dotson spoke to reporters Thursday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse.
This will be the first Dotson faces West Virginia in his career, though he’s not the only newcomer that has yet to see West Virginia’s full-court pressure defense. Veterans, such as senior Lagerald Vick, made sure to warn the younger players about facing that style of defense.
“I’ve watched both of their games last year, and I have seen that intense defense,” Dotson said. “We should be ready for it, we have been preparing all week for it.”
KU (15-2, 4-1 Big 12) travels to West Virginia at 1 p.m. Saturday.
