Kansas coach Bill Self spoke to reporters Thursday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse.
The Mountaineers are still searching for their first win in Big 12 play, while the Jayhawks are currently tied for first place in the league standings.
“Forget about their record, we know they’re capable,” Self said. “And they’re hungry.”
KU (15-2, 4-1 Big 12) will travel to West Virginia (8-9, 0-5) at 1 p.m. Saturday.
