Kansas coach Bill Self spoke to reporters following a 70-63 win over Oklahoma Wednesday night at Allen Fieldhouse.
The Jayhawks, who have won 14-straight Big 12 titles, have now won 28 consecutive conference openers.
Kansas travels to Iowa State at 4 p.m. Saturday.
“It will be as hard an atmosphere we will play in,” Self said. “It’s always like that up in Ames. We like going up there to play…we are going to face a much improved team, they have a lot of new faces.”
