Mitch Lightfoot on how much it means to win the Sunflower Showdown

Mitch Lightfoot spoke to reporters following his performance in KU’s 64-49 win over Kansas State Monday night in Allen Fieldhouse.

Lightfoot scored nine points, collected five rebounds and recorded three blocks. He was the first sub to enter the game, and earned a start in the second half. Kansas is now in second place with four games left to play in the Big 12 season.

Kansas travels to Oklahoma State at 11 a.m. Saturday.
