Kansas coach Bill Self spoke to reporters following KU’s 79-63 win over Texas Tech Saturday afternoon in Allen Fieldhouse.
The win helped the Jayhawks snap a two-game skid with the convincing victory over the Red Raiders.
“We needed it,” Self said. “We have had a rough couple of weeks. I don’t think it is terrible to lose at Kentucky and at Texas. With manhood being challenged a little bit, you would think if we are going to rally the troops and fight together, this would be the perfect time to do so.
