Kansas freshman Devon Dotson spoke to reporters Friday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse.

“We’re in a positive state,” Dotson said. “We’ve got a big one Saturday. It’s a huge game for us.”

No. 11 Kansas (16-5, 5-3 Big 12) plays host to No. 16 Texas Tech (17-4, 5-3) at 3 p.m. Saturday for a crucial conference clash. The Jayhawks have lost two games in a row, including a road tilt at Texas on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders have won two games in a row, and is also vying to become the first Big 12 program to win back-to-back games in Allen Fieldhouse since Iowa State did it in 2000 and 2001.
