Senior RB Khalil Herbert on KU’s comeback drive in season opener

Senior running back Khalil Herbert spoke to reporters Saturday afternoon following KU’s 24-17 win over Indiana State at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

“A win is a win,” Herbert said.

The Jayhawks needed a late comeback to take down a FCS foe, as Carter Stanley and Daylon Charlot linked up for a 22-yard connection with 2:20 left in the game.
