KU competes in an open scrimmage ahead of Spring Game

For the first time this spring, reporters got to see KU compete in a scrimmage during open practice.

[Benton Smith wrote][1] about how the scrimmage provided a glimpse of the current depth chart. Thomas MacVittie was the quarterback for the first unit, while Carter Stanley was the signal caller for the reserves.

The Spring Game is slated for 6 p.m. Saturday.
