KU coach Bill Self on college basketball corruption trial

Kansas City, Mo. — University of Kansas head basketball coach Bill Self fields questions from reporters on the college basketball corruption trial during Big 12 Media Day Wednesday at the Sprint Center.

An Adidas executive and two other insiders from the high-stakes world of college basketball recruiting were convicted Wednesday in a corruption case.

In addition, Self announced that sophomore forward Silvio De Sousa will not play in Thursday’s exhibition opener against Emporia State at 7 p.m. at Allen Fieldhouse.
