Kansas football players spoke to reporter following a 21-17 loss to Kansas State in Manhattan. It marks the 10th-straight year that the Wildcats have won the Sunflower Showdown.

“Just going into the game, I felt like we were prepared to win this one,” senior linebacker Joe Dineen said. “They made more plays than we did, so credit to them, but this one hurts.”

Kansas State was held scoreless in the first half, which was the team’s first scoreless half against Kansas since the first half of the 2008 game.

KU (3-7, 1-6 Big 12) travels to Oklahoma.
