Head coach David Beaty spoke to reporters following KU’s 21-17 loss to Kansas State Saturday afternoon at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The Jayhawks have now lost 10 consecutive meetings with the Wildcats.
“It was a back-and-forth game there in the second half and they did what exactly they needed to do to make enough plays to win it and we were not able to do that,” Beaty said. “That’s unfortunate because I felt like we had a pretty good showing for most of the day, but that’s why you play all four quarters, every minute of each on of them.”
K-State coach Bill Snyder earned his 23rd win over Kansas.
Kansas (3-7, 1-6 Big 12) travels to Oklahoma Saturday.
