KU players praise depth after win over Michigan State

KU players Mitch Lightfoot and Charlie Moore spoke to reporters Friday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse ahead of the team’s home opener with Vermont.

The Jayhawks had 10 players score in the first half alone against the Spartans during their 92-87 win Tuesday in the Champions Classic. Four players finished with at least 16 points, as freshman Quentin Grimes posted a game-high 20 points for KU.

Kansas (1-0) plays host to Vermont at 8 p.m. Monday.
