Kansas men’s basketball coach Bill Self previews Vermont and recaps the win over Michigan State at his press conference Friday at Allen Fieldhouse. Vermont will begin its regular season tonight with road tilt at Boston University at 7 p.m.

Vermont has earned 10 consecutive postseason tournament berths, and was picked as the preseason frontrunner in the America East preseason poll. It marks the third straight year that the Catamounts have been tabbed to win the conference.

The Jayhawks, who are the No. 1 team in the nation, are coming off a 92-87 win over the No. 10 Spartans in the Champions Classic.

KU (1-0) plays host to Vermont at 8 p.m. Monday.
