Malik Newman says Jayhawks ‘failed’ former players in town for 120-year celebration

After a five-point home loss to Oklahoma State, Kansas sophomore guard Malik Newman said it was “kind of sad, depressing” with so many former players at Allen Fieldhouse to celebrate the program’s 120-year history.

Newman said the team has a lot of confidence in Lagerald Vick to break out of his slump and that he felt he contributed to the Jayhawks’ slow start with his lack of aggressiveness in the first half.
