Kansas sophomore Marcus Garrett spoke to reporters Monday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse. Garrett talked about KU needing a better start among other topics ahead of Tuesday’s home game against Wofford.
Garrett said that the Jayhawks got off to a slow start because players weren’t focused during their overtime win over Stanford Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse. Garrett said the players need to play smarter after falling behind by as many as 12 in the second half.
Kansas (6-0) plays host to Wofford at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
