KU coach Bill Self after KU’s win over Stanford

By Staff     Dec 1, 2018

Bill Self spoke to reporters following KU’s overtime win over Stanford Saturday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks (6-0) trailed for much of the game before some late-game heroics by senior wing Lagerald Vick. With six seconds remaining, Vick hit a game-tying triple to force overtime. Vick finished with a team-high 27 points in the win.

“That was an Allen Fieldhouse win. An arena win. A building win,” Self said. “We had nothing going and then Lagerald got us going a little bit. And when the building got electric, that’s when it was a lot of fun.”

KU plays host to Wofford at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
