Dorance Armstrong speaks on improving KU’s pass rush

Without a sack through the first four games of the season, Kansas junior defensive end Dorance Armstrong Jr. said the bye week helped the Jayhawks diagnose some of their problems creating a consistent pass rush.

“It’s just one thing: we were watching the quarterback instead of beating the man in front of us,” Armstrong said. “It showed on film.”

As a team, the Jayhawks (1-3) have recorded only three sacks heading into Saturday’s home matchup against Texas Tech.
