Villanova’s Josh Hart on why Ryan Arcidiacono is such a good PG

By Staff     Mar 25, 2016

Villanova junior guard Josh Hart says the Wildcats love playing with senior point guard Ryan Arcidiacono, in large part because the 6-foot-5 floor general seemingly always makes the perfect reads on offense.

Hart says Arcidiacono has the ability to always play with a clear head.

“A lot of times guys are coming in thinking I need to score, or I need to do this, I need to do that. He comes in thinking, ‘All right. I’m just gonna do the right thing every possession that I can.’ And that contributes to him being so far ahead of the game.”

The rest of the Wildcats, Hart adds, always have to be ready, because the senior point guard could swing a pass their way at any instant.

No. 2 seed Villanova (32-5) faces No. 1 seed Kansas (33-4) at 7:49 p.m. Central time on Saturday night, in the South regional final.
