Landen Lucas doesn’t mind doing KU’s dirty work

By Staff     Mar 7, 2016

Kansas junior forward Landen Lucas recalls when coach Bill Self told him prior to the Jayhawks’ home game against Texas on Jan. 23 that he’d be in the starting lineup.

At the time of the change, Lucas says, the focus was primarily on rebounding and defense for the newly named starting post player.

“Since then, we’ve expanded that,” Lucas adds, “because there’s other things I can do. But those were the two main things he focused on during that conversation.”
