Wayne Selden Jr: Jayhawks need to learn from mistakes before playing in Maui

By Staff     Nov 19, 2015

After suffering a loss to Michigan State in Chicago, Kansas junior guard Wayne Selden Jr. says the Jayhawks returned home ready to learn from their mistakes before they take off again for next week’s Maui Invitational.

Selden says KU’s guard play “wasn’t good” against Michigan State, and if two of the three, or one of the three starting guards could’ve stepped up, KU might have earned the preferred outcome.

The Jayhawks’ lack of execution down the stretch, according to Selden, presented a number of correctable mistakes.
