*Editor’s Note: This one wasn’t easy. But we had to find 10 guys to rank, so here they are.*
**1 – Dru Prox -** For the second game in a row, Prox was a solo tackling machine, racking up 11 total tackles, 10 solo, while being credited with a pass break-up and a half of a tackle for loss. A big part of a defense that only gave up 12 points.
**2 – Bryce Torneden -** Second on the team with eight tackles (6 solo), the Free State High product also was credited with a half sack, a full tackle for a loss and a forced fumble.
**3 – Khalil Herbert -** Scored KU’s only TD and averaged 10.2 yards per carry while gaining 82 yards on the ground. Probably should’ve touched the ball more than the eight times he did.
**4 – Pooka Williams -** In his first game back from suspension, Pooka touched it 24 times for 109 total yards and definitely made his presence felt. But the magic of last season was not yet there and KU sure could’ve used it. Averaged 4.5 yards per carry.
**5 – Mike Lee -** A monster hit that nearly forced a fumble in the opening moments of the second half is what stands out from Lee in this one. He finished with five tackles and a half tackle for loss.
**6 – Ricky Thomas -** While making a couple of highlight stops, Thomas recorded three total tackles and one tackle for a loss while seemingly putting himself in good spots all night.
**7 – Darrius Moragne -** Another game another sack for the big KU lineman, who finished with three tackles and the sack.
**8 – Najee Stevens-McKenzie -** Three tackles, two for loss, and a willingness to fly to the ball all night long.
**9 – James Sosinski -** One week after scoring his first career TD, the KU tight end converted a big first down in the first half and finished with three catches for 36 yards on a night when last week’s two receiving stars combined for three catches for 14 yards.
**10 – Azur Kamara -** Active, aggressive linebacker picked up another sack and 1.5 tackles for loss in an otherwise quiet night in which he didn’t receive much action his way.
