Kansas forward Dedric Lawson (1) puts up a shot over Iowa State guard Talen Horton-Tucker (11) during the first half, Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 at Allen Fieldhouse.

**1 – Dedric Lawson -** So good when Kansas had nothing going and so good when Kansas got going. His monster night was exactly the kind Kansas is going to need if it wants to be a true contender. And Lawson appears to be poised to deliver. Finished with 29 points and 15 rebounds on 13-of-17 shooting.

**2 – Marcus Garrett -** Finished with 16 points on 8-of-12 shooting and is becoming a bona fide two-way player who still suffocates opponents with his defense first.

**3 – Devon Dotson -** Completely flipped the script from his disastrous 7-turnover West Virginia game by tallying 8 assists and 0 turnovers in this one.

**4 – Lagerald Vick -** Hit a couple of HUGE 3-pointers and did just enough everywhere else to justify his 37 minutes.

**5 – Ochai Agbaji -** Sparked the Jayhawks in the first half and started the second while returning to his reliable sixth man role.

**6 – K.J. Lawson -** Played some big minutes and hit a key bucket in the run that turned the game in Kansas’ favor.

**7 – Charlie Moore -** Recorded 1 steal in 2 minutes.

**8 – Quentin Grimes -** Recorded 1 steal in 19 minutes.

**9 – David McCormack -** Didn’t do anything other than grab one rebound in 2 minutes and look a little out of sorts in terms of understanding what he was supposed to be doing.
