– Dedric Lawson – Finally got it going from 3-point range and added another workmanlike double-double to a season full of them. Recorded 25 points and 10 rebounds in 29 minutes.
– Devon Dotson – Not only did Dotson harass the Texas Tech ball handlers all night, flat-out picking the pocket of a couple of Red Raiders for easy, lightning-fast buckets on the other end, but he also knocked in 3 triples on a night when KU had everything working offensively. Finished with 20 points, 4 assists and 3 steals.
– Ochai Agbaji – He continues to flash his leadership muscles. He also is not afraid to fly high and bring all kinds of emotion and energy to the court.
– Lagerald Vick – Had it going with the jump shot early on and his icy glare and signature snarl helped set the tone for this Kansas effort.
– Quentin Grimes – Had just 6 points — on 2-of-5 from 3-point range — but also added 4 assists and did his part to help KU defend Tech star Jarrett Culver.
– Charlie Moore – Logged 6 assists in 15 minutes — 2 of them to Agbaji for lobs — and took advantage of the minutes he got because of Marcus Garrett’s injury.
– K.J. Lawson – Hit a 3-pointer early and showed he could be a reliable option Saturday afternoon if the short-handed Jayhawks needed him.
– Mitch Lightfoot – 6 minutes, 1 rebound and 1 turnover.
– David McCormack – 5 minutes, 1 rebound and 2 turnovers.
