Five-star Class of 2020 guard Bryce Thompson cut his list to four on Sunday.

The Oklahoma native cut his list to North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Kansas. Thompson recently visited Kansas the day after Late Night in the Phog, and the Jayhawks considered to be one of the favorites to land the star guard.

Kansas coach Bill Self visited with Thompson and his family on Oct. 17, as did Oklahoma State coach Mike Boynton and an assistant coach from North Carolina.

Thompson is expected to make his decision relatively soon, likely in time to make it official during the early signing period, which runs Nov. 13-20.

Hey Lawrence is only 3 h 35 min (217.3 mi) from Tulsa. Family can still visit and it is the top school on your list. C'mon and be the next great Guard and have a great supporting cast waiting on you! #RCJH

Landing Thompson would be huge for the 2020 recruiting class.

Below is a Tulsa World article (e-edition) today on Thompson's final four choices. Not sure why, but the World staff chose to show only the picture of Bryce with Coach Self in the print edition while the online version has pics of him with all four coaches (and family or staff).

Here's hoping the author has some inside knowledge!

Nice article, but I couldn't tell any favoritism for one school over the others.

The picture of Thompson and Coach Self to which I was referring, was the only picture shown in the "print" edition. The e-edition (which is what I linked to), had all the pictures taken by the family, of Bryce and each of the coaches.

Do I believe he is leaning toward Kansas? Not necessarily. The article makes it look as though his father could be, however.
