‘Svi for three?’ More like Svi for No. 1

By Staff     Nov 24, 2014

**1 – Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk:** Scored all 10 of his points in a span of 3:10 in the first half. He buried two threes, saved a ball, ducked behind the defense and got it back for an easy bucket and had a put-back in transition.

**2 – Wayne Selden Jr.:** Went out of his way to show younger teammates the value of passing the ball and on a night he didn’t score a point he had a career-high nine assists, seven in the first half.

**3 – Cliff Alexander:** Totaled 10 points and four rebounds in nine first-half minutes, scoring in a wide assortment of ways. Did or didn’t do a couple of things that displeased the coach in the opening two minutes of the second half and didn’t check back in until the four-minute mark, and then quickly gave way to the walk-ons.

**4 – Brannen Greene:** He, more than anybody, needed a big shooting night to bring confidence with him to Orlando. He made 5 of 7 shots, 2 of 4 three-pointers and 5 of 5 free throws to finish with 17 points in 19 minutes.

**5 – Perry Ellis:** Played 26 minutes against a short team and came away with just three rebounds. On the flip side, he showed how well he knows how to make himself available for post passes and he made 5 of 6 field goals and scored 17 points.

**6 – Frank Mason III:** Played at a fast tempo for most of the night and totaled seven points, five rebounds and four assists.

**7 – Landen Lucas:** Started and produced nine points, four rebounds, a blocked shot and two steals on a night he made all three shots, including a mid-range jumper.

**8 – Jamari Traylor:** Blocked two shots, had three assists and scored six points in 21 minutes off the bench. Had just two rebounds.

**9 – Hunter Mickelson:** Hustled his way to six points, two rebounds and a blocked shot in five minutes.

**10 – Kelly Oubre:** Hasn’t played with exceptional energy yet and still appears to thinking more than just playing basketball. The talent’s there, he just hasn’t gotten out of the way of it yet. Totaled five points, four boards and two assists in 15 minutes.
