**1 – Brannen Greene:** Drew his fourth foul with 11-plus remaining but he had already done huge damage. Came back in and hit a huge three-pointer from the right corner to put KU up five with 2:34 left. Made 5 of 5 threes and scored 19 points in 18 minutes.

**2 – Perry Ellis:** Couldn’t get his shots near the bucket to drop but played aggressively at both ends and totaled 13 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocked shots.

**3 – Cliff Alexander:** Had a tough time checking Joshua Smith, who had a huge size advantage, but so did everybody else. Never stopped battling and finished with seven points, six rebounds and two blocked shots.

**4 – Frank Mason III:** Started the game in rough fashion and had two key turnovers late, but also made a huge three-pointer and totaled 14 points, three boards and two steals playing on a sore ankle. Had three assists and four turnovers.

**5 – Kelly Oubre Jr.:** Brought good energy off the bench and reached season highs in several categories, including minutes (16), points (seven), rebounds (five), free throws (5 of 6) and steals (two).

**6 – Wayne Selden Jr.:** Made 2 of 3 three-pointers but missed all of his shots inside the arc, including an attempted dunk. Played well defensively but as was the case with most teammates, he could have taken better care of the ball (three turnovers).

**7 – Devonté Graham:** Left the game with a sprained ankle with 10 minutes left and didn’t return. Didn’t show great shot selection and had a pair of turnovers.

**8 – Landen Lucas:** Tried to get physical with Joshua Smith and fouled out after 13 minutes of action. Had two points and two rebounds.

**9- Svi Mykhailiuk:** Not a good night. Bill Self had seen enough after watching him play five minutes and determined this was not a good matchup for the 17-year-old freshman.

**10 – Hunter Mickelson:** In for a fraction of a minute and his man scored on a dunk.
