Jordan Webb tops Keegans against Kansas State

By Staff     Oct 22, 2011

**1. Jordan Webb:** The well-drilled, well-conditioned Kansas State defense didn’t leave opportunities for long passes, so the efficient Webb took what the defense gave him and dinked and dunked his way to 21 for 28 with 169 yards and a touchdown.

**2. Jeremiah Hatch:** One week after leaving the game early and suffering from temporary paralysis, the senior co-captain showed why he’s a captain.

**3. Steven Johnson:** Linebacker refuses to let the failure of those around him taint his consistently strong effort.

**4. James Sims:** Sheer power enabled him to get into the end zone.

**5. Tony Pierson:** The quickest guy on team can slip through tiny holes. He averaged 4.6 yards on eight carries.

**6. Kale Pick:** Repeatedly found the openings on short routes. Caught six passes for 51 yards.

**7. Jimmay Mundine:** Always looks good when used late in games. The tight end had four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown.

**8. Quinn Mecham:** Connected on 4 of 8 passes for 41 yards and a touchdown in mop-up duty.

**9. JaCorey Shepherd:** Freshman has a high ceiling and snazzy moves, as he showed on a 17-yard reception.

**10. Tanner Hawkinson:** Helped Webb get enough protection to pass for short gains.
