Bradley McDougald earns top Keegan honor

By Staff     Nov 5, 2011

**1. Bradley McDougald:** Emerging junior safety made his presence felt all over the field. Returned an interception 29 yards, made 11 tackles (10 solo, two for a loss) and forced a fumble. He’s beginning to show why Ohio State recruited him as a safety.

**2. D.J. Beshears:** Willed his way into the end zone on 22-yard reverse play, made five catches for 45 yards, including one for 20, and returned a punt 12 yards.

**3. Toben Opurum:** Juked out of a couple of sacks, but did an excellent job of putting pressure on the quarterback and spent plenty of time in the backfield.

**4. Tyler Patmon:** Did a nice job of keeping a punt from going into the end zone and had seven solo tackles.

**5. Keeston Terry:** In on eight tackles, seven of the solo variety, Terry has a chance to develop into a big-time player.

**6. Greg Brown:** Strong coverage helped others to pressure the quarterback and he added eight tackles (six solo) to the cause.

**7. Duane Zlatnik:** Blocks paved the way for a better performance from the running game that produced 174 yards.

**8. Tanner Hawkinson:** Needs to get stronger in the offseason, but nimble-footed tackle continues to improve his run-blocking.

**9. Darrian Miller:** He’s the master at turning a 2-yard play into a 5-yard gain by refusing to go down. He gained 70 yards on 17 carries.

**10. Brandon Bourbon:** Carried it just twice, but looked great doing it, gaining 25 yards.
