Collins tops ratings for third straight game

By Staff     Jan 10, 2010

1. Sherron Collins: Played poorly in the final minutes but seemed to be the only one who was aggressive from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Made just 2 of 10 three-pointers.

2. Cole Aldrich: Had 18 rebounds, including eight on the offensive glass, and had four blocked shots but was so passive offensively he attempted just five field goals and two free throws.

3. Tyshawn Taylor: Had a sloppy game (four turnovers) and did not defend well. Did make a big three-pointer in the second half and scored 13 points.

4. Xavier Henry: Needs to drive more often and more aggressively. He’s too talented to relegate himself to a three-point shooter role.

5. Marcus Morris: Marcus Morris. Marcus Morris. Paging Marcus Morris. Please report back to the Jayhawks. Marcus Morris. Marcus Morris. Paging Marcus Morris.

6. Markieff Morris: Markieff Morris. Markieff Morris. Paging Markieff Morris. Please report back to the Jayhawks. Markieff Morris. Markieff Morris. Paging Markieff Morris.

7. Brady Morningstar: Looked athletically overmatched at times.

8. Tyrel Reed: Made just 1 of 5 three-point shots.

9. Thomas Robinson: One board, one personal and one missed bunny in three minutes.

10. C.J. Henry: Chewed gum and picked up a personal foul in two minutes.
