_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk **scholarship players’ individual performances**, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Darrell Arthur**: Largely responsible for holding 6-foot-6 Richard Roby to two points, Arthur slides his feet on defense exceptionally well for a man his size.**2. Mario Chalmers**: Blocked two shots, had two steals, made all four free throw attempts, and generated nine points from the field on just five attempts. What an efficient player he has become. He improves by big leaps every season.**3. Darnell Jackson**: He rode is pure jumper to a 12-point afternoon and played strong defense, sometimes checking Roby.**4. Sasha Kaun**: Terrific defensive effort drew repeated ovations from Larry Brown. Powered his way to eight points.**5. Russell Robinson**: Team didn’t need him to score, so he did everything else. Had four points, five rebounds, five assists and just one turnover.**6. Brandon Rush**: Couldn’t hit his jumper (made one of five three-pointers), but threw some nice passes and had five assists, two steals and two blocked shots.**7. Cole Aldrich**: Six points, four rebounds and three blocked shots in 14 minutes. He doesn’t often play like a freshman.**8. Tryel Reed**: Showed the aggressiveness of a player trying to work his way into the rotation. The knuckleball rotation on his jumper belies its accuracy. He made two of three trifectas, scored six points in eight minutes and has a .485 three-point accuracy rate on the season.**9. Sherron Collins**: Too wild, he had three turnovers, but did trigger the play of the day with an alley-oop that Arthur went way up to corral and throw down.**10. Jeremy Case**: Limited to two minutes and faced stiff pressure without turning it over.**11. Rod Stewart**: Errant pass made for a short, three-minute game for Stewart, whose spot in the rotation is facing a stiff challenge from Tyrel Reed.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Darnell Jackson **7.96** (207 points, 26 games) **2.** Mario Chalmers **7.88** (197 points, 25 games) **3.** Brandon Rush **7.21** (173 points, 24 games) **4.** Darrell Arthur **6.96/b> (181 point, 26 games) **5.** Russell Robinson **6.23** (162 points, 26 games) **6.** Sherron Collins **5.95** (119 points, 20 games) **7.** Sasha Kaun **5.81** (151 points, 26 games) **8.** Cole Aldrich **4.28** (107 points, 25 games) **9.** Rod Stewart **3.73** (97 points, 26 games) **10.** Tyrel Reed **3.17** (57 points, 18 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.22** (51 points, 23 games)**
