_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk **scholarship players’ individual performances**, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Mario Chalmers**: It took him a while to heat up in each of his first two seasons, but he’s hit stride much earlier this year. Forces as many turnovers as any player in the country.**2. Russell Robinson**: Set a career high with 11 assists and consistently applied pressure on the opposing point guard.**3. Darnell Jackson**: Crashing the offensive boards hard for put-backs to go with an 18-footer from the top of the key, Jackson finished with 11 points and five boards and did not miss a shot from the field.**4. Darrell Arthur**: Had 14 points, eight boards, two blocked shots and just one ill-advised shot, which qualifies as progress.**5. Sasha Kaun**: Has mastered the art of playing physical defense without getting whistled for a foul. He also blocked two shots and helped guards get steals by joining them to trap ballhandlers on the perimeter. He’ll never have reliable hands, but does a lot of great things with his feet and long wingspan. Eight points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots in 17 minutes.**6. Brandon Rush**: Came out hot in his first start, hitting three quick three-pointers, but lost his touch after that. Showed more aggressiveness driving than he had in earlier games.**7. Cole Aldrich**: Has played 33 minutes in the past three games, combining for 18 points, 15 rebounds and five blocked shots.**8. Sherron Collins**: Not in game shape yet. Isn’t nearly as explosive as he was before the injury and doesn’t look to be in the same shape. **9. Jeremy Case**: Didn’t shoot well (1 for 4) but played aggressively at both ends and had three assists in six minutes. Has made just 3 of 13 three-point shots this season.**10. Tyrel Reed**: Made a too-fancy pass for a turnover and missed all three shots.**11. Rod Stewart**: It was just one of those days for Stewart, who had three turnovers in 10 minutes. First bad game of the season for the senior. **The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Darnell Jackson **7.80** (78 points, 10 games) **2.** Mario Chalmers **6.90** (69 points, 10 games) **3.** Brandon Rush **6.25** (50 points, 8 games) **4.** Darrell Arthur **6.10** (61 point, 10 games) **5.** Russell Robinson **5.90** (59 points, 10 games) **6.** Sherron Collins **5.25** (21 points, 4 games) **7.** Rod Stewart **5.10** (51 points, 10 games) **8.** Sasha Kaun **5.00** (50 points, 10 games) **9.** Cole Aldrich **4.30** (43 points, 10 games) **10.** Tyrel Reed **4.14** (29 points, 7 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.33** (21 points, 9 games)
