/ TCU vs Kansas
March 26, 2015
Tom and Matt thought they would be in Cleveland this week covering Kansas in the NCAA Tournament. The Jayhawks' season ended, however, in Omaha, at the hands of Wichita State.
Copy and paste the link:
Matt: An observation: Every team that beat a B12 team in this tourney lost their next game, West Virginia not withstanding. Will Michigan State lose to Louisville?
Can the B12 ever achieve real national championship aspirations without KU?
Since the formation of the Big 12 there have been 7 final four appearances, 4 by KU. The only conference with fewer appearances has been the Pac 12.
IowaState was a bigger disappointment than even KU was. That's OK, as those heathen IowaState fans deserve to have their own "killerB" on their Tourney resume: "UAB". WVa proved to be even more of an embarrassment vs KY than KU was (both were still awful and disgraceful). UTex's season long slide was the final nail in Barnes' coffin.
At least we have a better brand of purple to root for: TCU Horned Frogs!!! Legit football program, and a very dangerous basketball program. You cannot take a YMCA-type squad to a game with TCU. On the other hand, FtHays, ESU, PittSt, and Washburn will likely be able to topple Weber's KSUckers. 4 games into the BigXII conf season, KSU was co-leading the conf race. But look at their PowerCatSlide!!! Vintage Weber-down-draft! (cue the sucking hiss sound...)
A man in AFH, during the KU-KSU game yelled out: "Bruce, your team SUCKS!". Now, Brucie-baby doesnt even have a team: Gipson and Williams graduate with their worthless diplomas, 1 transfer, and 2 dismissals: Foster and the other frosh guard. 5 guys gone, and nobody will go to Manlesshattan (Frank Martin is long gone...).
Maybe Weber can follow Snyder's plan, and get some 0-star, 1-star, 2-star cornfed KS kids, and some juco kids, and never sniff a National Championship in 30years? 2 peas in a pod: Neither Weber nor Snyder even know what a 5-star recruit is. Good lord, they've had long enough to figure out the concept, one would think. Nor have they figured out that NOBODY outside the state of Ks cares about kansas state university, and nor do even half the people IN the state of Ks.
Reality hurts, but dont be staining my floor with those purple tears, either!
