Study finds KU's Memorial Stadium offers one of the top home-field advantages in college football

Often the brain trust behind these studies have never sat in a stadium and watched their home team play. They can't consider all the hundreds of little things that make a true home field advantage what it is because you simply cant read about it or put some numbers behind some facts and explain it. I say make them sit through a KU basketball game and the lights will come on and the creatures of this study will likely politely excuse themselves and go back to reading code. But not a bad article for this time of the year I guess.

Memorable hug, tears just part of emotional night for Thomas Robinson

Can someone please shed some light on me as to why there was all the booing going on? The people in the building were all over the place, spilling their beers that were in both hands. This night was to cap a lifetime of achivement for these guys involved and the atmosphere was just a joke. Why does the draft have to be this way? Someone please explain this to me.

Incoming guard Doyle hoping to live up to legacy of Chicago Jayhawks

Off the subject, but did anyone else notice Dwayne Wade cussing on live TV last night as he walked into the locker room? He was saying F'ing Mario Chalmers over and over again, of course to pay heed to Chalmers good game. None the less I was surprised it happend and couldn't he see the camera right in front of him? Any one else see this?

Making the grade: Perry Ellis averaged 25.8 PPG, 4.0 GPA

Does Zack Peters look like a young Sasha Kaun to anyone else? This kid is going to be a beast. He is going to be THE INTIMIDATOR!

KU football’s GPA jump a 'big stinkin’ deal'

......and also who cares if you have higher standards for a guy getting a free education. What do you want a perfect 4.0 to be eligible to play sports? Your ridiculous.

KU football’s GPA jump a 'big stinkin’ deal'

They are getting a free education because they play a sport. They play a sport to win. If they win revenue flows into the athletic department. As long as they are improving and eligible who cares? It's not our place to judge them because their on scholarship unless they are ineligible. At that point they are wasting there scholarship. These arguments don't make any sense to me. Don't be harsh just because they are on scholarship and well within the grade point level to maintain that agreement. Don't classify all football players as bad students either. It's our athletes who pump millions of dollars into the system to help pad the seat you sit in.

KU football’s GPA jump a 'big stinkin’ deal'

I was late getting on the site today and just got around to reading some of these posts. I had to stop after 5...This is getting a little bit ridiculous people. The story is about an improvement. Leave it at that, why must we dissect every story to the point it becomes a negative. Any good news regarding the football team should be welcomed with open arms. Give the group credit, not one game has been played yet and we already see iron clad improvement in the organization. Hopefully we will see it on the field as well. Lets get off our high horse for a minute and just enjoy a good positive read. Give me a break.
