Journal-World websites to require commenters to identify themselves

Don't blame LJW. If you're upset, put the blame where it belongs - with the posters guilty of the things they are trying to get rid of. There are plenty of times I read posters calling others idiots and dozens of other negative comments about the person posting on this site. This is a site to vent about what's going on with KU athletics, discuss with other fans and voice an OPINION. Again - OPINION. It's not a place to attack fellow KU fans. There have been plenty of times I felt ashamed by the comments some people on this site say about other KU fans. It's immature, ridiculous and shameful. I won't be sad to see those people go. Don't get me wrong, I hate that it has come to this, but it's not Facebook, Google, or LJW's fault. The fault lies with the guilty parties who post here.

Seeing red: Charlie Weis 'not content with anything' after KU's 54-16 loss to Texas Tech

Did you read the story in SI about OSU football? No thank you.

KU turns attention to stadium revamp

I will be ecstatic if I can sit through a game without feeling I have to roll into a fetal position to avoid getting knocked around by people in front and back of me. A little more room would be fabulous. And some of this other stuff too! Just don't lose the game day feel - it might be different than most but that's what makes it awesome.

KU offensive line seeking more toughness during bye week

I noticed that about Sims during the LA Tech game in the third quarter. Like he just didn't have 100% of his legs. I wasn't sure if he got beat up a bit during the game or what happened. But he definitely doesn't look as explosive. Hope he's ok.

KU, Texas Tech to kickoff at 11 a.m. Oct. 5

These early games give you an opportunity to tailgate before AND after the game. Double the fun!! I live 2 1/2 hours away. If I can do it, you can do it! Rock Chalk!

Turning a corner? KU finally wins close one in improbable 13-10 victory over LA Tech

I will choose to focus on the good things he did. Not dwell on what in your opinion as someone who wasn't on the field playing, looked like an easy interception. I do not understand you people.

That first sentence just oozes class. Oh wait. Before I leave I should point out. My first sentence is known as sarcasm.

Congrats Jayhawks!! Jimmay for responding like he did. The kicking? Jaw dropping excitement. I could not stop smiling and not because of the win but because I was SO happy for the players and how excited they were. Heeney for another great game and his first interception. Victor S for a great game. Stowers recovered fumble. I could go on and on. Was it pretty? Not really but a wins a win. And let's be honest. More wins are ugly than not so ill focus on the win, the fun, and most of all a game that every player needed and deserved. I can't wait to see how they respond to Tech. Rock Chalk!!

Comments along the line of "bring on basketball" makes the writer look ignorant. I hate to bash fellow KU fans but come on. It's lame, ignorant, stupid, disrespectful ... You get my point.

Notebook: TE Jimmay Mundine responds to benching; KU shuffles offensive line

And yet he still averaged 57 yards. And you're still complaining?!
