Jayhawks move past UCLA on all-time consecutive AP polls list while dropping to No. 7 this week

To be more accurate Bryce, it was around about the time Tweaky Trump was stiffing contractors in Atlantic City, while on his to bankrupting the Taj Mahal.

Along with being one the very few one term Presidents, Trump is also one the very few people to lose money owning a casino.

KDHE releases locations of COVID-19 outbreaks across Kansas, including 4 in Douglas County; KU football team listed with 14 cases

I am within arms length of Covid positive patients in nursing homes in Colorado every week and typically wear an N95 mask. Our country has large aging population that is very susceptible to this particular virus.

Herd immunity is one model for dealing with the virus, but will certainly inflict a much larger death toll on the American people, especially sick and elderly populations.

There are many Americans that view the number of Covid deaths and potential health complications as an abstract, inconsequential number; that viewpoint often shifts when they become personally affected by the disease.

Donald J. Trump, "It goes through the air...That's always tougher than the touch...you don't have to touch things...But the air, you just breathe the air and that's how it's passed. And so, that's a very tricky one. That's a very delicate one. It's more deadly than your...strenuous flus. You know people don't realize, we lose 25,000, 30,000 people a year here...And then I say, well, is that the same thing? This is more deadly. This is 5% you know, this is 5% versus 1%. You know? So, this is deadly stuff."

Bee Bee, surely you are not calling our President a liar?

You got one thing right, "We've been played from the beginning".

Hundreds of KU athletes, coaches, supporters stage Black Lives Matter march across campus Friday afternoon

Your rant is way longer Trump's daily briefing, which likely just involves coloring books at this point.

I agree that all US Presidents do both good and bad things. But you seem to be projecting by stating that Obama has led a privileged life, Trump more likely falls into the privileged category.

Obama was raised by and single mother and picked himself up by his bootstraps to live the American dream, something I thought you Conservatives wanted everyone to do, yet you seem upset that Obama has reached the highest levels from simple beginnings.

By the way things are going after three and a half years, I wouldn't say Trump has been masterful at handling race relations or the response to the pandemic.

You got one thing right, Obama started with the great depression that W. Bush got us into.

Biden will start with the Trump recession.

Clinton started with H.W. Bush recession.

I'm starting to notice a pattern here, maybe Republicans aren't actually that good with the economy and only seem to care about deficits if a Democrat, or as you would say "leftist" is in office.

So many words, but no facts. The fact is Obama took the national black unemployment from 16.8% down to 7.9%, Trump took it from 8% to 5.5% and now back up to 14.6%. You can rant and regurgitate Fox propaganda, but those numbers are factual.

Disinformation is destroying this country from the inside out. According to the Economic Policy Institute Black unemployment in Michigan went from 7% in Q1 2020 to 35.5% in Q2 this year. Those jobs aren't coming back tomorrow.

Chris, I have a really good deal on some oceanfront property in Western Kansas. We should definitely discuss this opportunity.

AD Jeff Long expects fans to be allowed at KU football games

The headline in the article is literally that people WILL be allowed into football games this fall.

I don't know what it's like where you live or in Lawrence? In Denver there is no rampant rioting, looting, arson, stealing, battery, property destruction, or killing of innocent people/ law enforcement. Although a few Aurora police did kill an innocent young man recently.

Bee Bee, you definitely need to get out of the house, so you can take a little break from watching Fox and OAN and realize that the list you posted is only happening in your news bubble, not in the real world.

Reports: Big 12 intends to play college football this fall as planned

@Steven. I was born on a Army base in Stuttgart and spent 13 years on bases from Ft Riley to Heidelberg.

Everyone prefers to not wear a mask and everyone wants to go outside, you are presenting strawman argument. You are correct sir, it is your right to go into public spaces without wearing a mask, potentially putting others at risk, especially the immunocompromised and elderly. It is also the right of others to find such behavior extremely disrespectful, especially to immunocompromised or elderly individuals.

Some people find taking a knee during the National Anthem to be disrespectful. Some people find not wearing a mask in a crowded public space to be even more disrespectful.

Steven, your gish gallop, strawman argument may sound great while drinkin' at the bar in South Dakota, but allowing yourself to be distracted from solving the Covid problem instead of choosing to ignore it would be much more productive while things are circling the toilet.

Lawrence is a party town with a large campus, near KC, it's not Sioux Falls and this virus spreads much easier then most others; most of the kids won't even know they have it, but some will have long term health issues as a result.

Everyone should be able to agree that we need to work toward solutions that allow for normal activities, while keeping all our citizens safe, if we can at least agree on that simple point, I think that would be more helpful for everyone in the country right now.
