I hope X is thinking long and hard for the big picture for his career. I think coming back for his Sophomore season and really imposing his will and getting himself to the free throw line 8 to 10 times a game is what the NBA scouts want to see. He should be a solid NBA guy, but he could really set himself up long term by getting selected much higher next year and making more of an impact when he gets to the league. Plus he would have a ton of fun being the go to guy for a great Kansas team next season.

I know he will be a player and I'm a tad selfish, as I want him back, but I really think it is the best "win/win" percentage decision. He comes back, he will play better as he knows what to expect, and he asserts himself much higher in the draft. He has a ton of fun, and will make himself a ton more ca$h down the road.

X could be the #1 overall pick next year if he plays up to his potential. I think there is room for improvement for him at KU that will transend his game in the NBA.

In all honesty...I'm not being a greedy KU fan.... X needs to say just one more year and really dominate the college game.

Wow! That look is perplexing to say the least. What did HCBS say? What has Cole said to X? What's his parents telling him? I think the truth is being displayed here on his face. Cole is going and X knows that staying is the right thing inspite of the stupid media hype. I remember when he endured the uk crap and his dad got too involved. Then when his mother got involved, he just started making sense. Carl needs to get off his son's back and let him grow up to make his own decisions. My guess is his mother, Self and Cole have all told him to consider staying at least one more year. CJ might even being encouraging him to stay too.

I know the money and the idea of the NBA is terribly tempting, but X is a competitor and wil want to play at the next level, not just get paid! He knows the truth and the truth will truly set him free when he makes the right decision.

I agree hailtoku, it does seem selfish, but X needs to stay for many reasons mentioned by so many over the course of the season. It's not just one game, but the many signs over the season. I think he'll make the right decision. He's a smart kid! He came to KU, that says it all!!

Rock Chalk X, Rock the Chalk one more year my friend!!
